Cookin' For My Man

When we first got married, my recipe collection was slim. I grew up having to make dinner at least one night a week, but I never really ventured out and tried new things. I think I was scared. Who knows? So when we first got married, we had a lot of tacos, spaghetti, bratwursts, pork chops, and easy meals. When my hubby officially joined the Navy and then got deployed, I used the time he was away to not sit in the corner and cry, but to widen my recipe collection and experiment with new dishes, so that I can spoil that man when he got home. I think I came out of my comfort zone, because it worked!!! Cooking has developed to become something I enjoy. When I ask my hubby, "do you like this dish," and his response is yes, it really fills my body with joy to know that he loves the meal!! Here are the recipes I have made thus far. So much more will come in the future, and I will update this as often as the new meal comes!

Happy Eating!
